Jim is responsible for the investment management of money market mutual funds and the Custom Cash Management institutional portfolios. He began working in the financial industry in 1987. Prior to joining the firm in 1992 as a portfolio manager, Jim was a securities lending trader and senior master trust accountant at First Trust.

He received a B.S. in finance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota. Jim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute, as well as the CFA Society of Minnesota.
