David is head of equities for FAF Advisors. He is responsible for the equity investment process and performance of the equity investment group. David is also the manager of the Large Cap Select Fund and co-manager of the Mid Cap Select Fund. He is a member of FAF Advisors' Operating Committee and Asset Allocation Committee.

David began working in the financial industry in 1984. Before joining the firm in 2002, he served as Chief Investment Officer for Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. Prior to that, David was head of the Equity Investment division of Allstate Insurance Company.

David received a B.S. in commerce and an M.B.A. from DePaul University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

David has served as a spokesperson for the firm, appearing in media such as CNBC-TV, Bloomberg TV, and Bloomberg Radio, and he has been quoted by Financial Times, BusinessWeek, Investor's Business Daily, the Associated Press, Reuters, and the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
