Jim Palmer, CFA

Managed Funds: Government Obligations, Prime Obligations, Tax Free Obligations, Treasury Obligations, U.S. Treasury Money Market
Jim is the Head of Investments for U.S. Bancorp Asset Management and is responsible for the investment process and performance for the First American money market mutual funds, the security lending collateral investment accounts and the short-term fixed income institutional portfolios. Jim began working in the financial industry in 1987. Prior to joining the firm in 1992 as a portfolio manager, Jim was a securities lending trader and senior master trust accountant at First Trust.

Jim received a B.S. in finance from the University of Wisconsin—La Crosse and an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota. Jim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute, as well as the CFA Society of Minnesota.
